Hiya
Got a Jack Herer Auto in DWC under a basic 50W cob. About a week ago i bumped up the PPM to about 580 (water is 180), the next day the tips were looking a bit burned so i dropped that way down to 400 (now at 340) but what ever it is hasnt gone away, its affecting new growth.
I also think my light was too close, i dunno could this be light burn? Its gone right up, now about 12'.
Or a deficiency, which is possible considering im hardly feeding her...?
Help!
Cheers!

Feed her.... why aren’t you feeding her. Are you checking ph? It looks hungry. What kind of light? If it’s a led it’s to far away. N that is not light burn! Light burn will curl the leaves.. if you ever get it you will know it’s light burn.

Ta very much. Low feeding cos i thought it was nute burn at first, the pics looked identical from what i found. Ph 6.2 which is OK i think.
Cheers!

Newest growth with blanched tips looks nitrogen overdose. Investigate Lucas formula.

Add: dark green another indicator of heavy nitrogen. There’s no light bleaching.

Thansk doods much appreciated.
I had nit tox last grow so I know about that, I had the classic tip claw, I dont see that now so I don't think that's it.
Nute burn, well the overfeed was only by 100ppm or so, for less than 24 hours, I dont think that's enough to be causing burn days after the ppm was dropped.
So I'm gonna go for light burn. Its definitely the uppermost tips that are burned, that suggests its the light, well it does to me anyway.
I've raised the light will bump ppm back to 400 and see how she gets on.
Thanks!

If you use Android I have made an app to help adjusting lights. Try it :) http://bit.ly/PPFDMETER
