I have the same problem with mine. I tried the foam strips that are sticky on one side, that helped a little. I think thats what rasclot is talking about. Will it make that big of a difference if a little light leaks?

yes it makes a difference. if you see light getting out then im sure light is getting in when lights are off. not good during flowering. on 12/12 when light is off, you want your girls in pitch black.

That is a tough one. You are right to worry about it, as you absolutely have to fix it. You can try some weather stripping. I would say the spongy D shaped rubber with a hollow center. If that doesn't last or if you can't make it seal with all the opening and closing of the doors then I would be inclined to go with black plastic and Velcro.

Home Depot, Lowes, Menard's...that type of place. They have all kinds of different shapes so you might see something that you think will work better too.

Good luck.

I use the regular "weather stripping" you can buy at Lowe's and Home Depot.

It's like $3 for one package, and 2-3 packages should be sufficient for any door.

It also comes in several sizes.

I used mostly a dense foam weatherstripping on my cab too and I wasn't real thrilled. I think the weatherstripping with the hollow center has lots more give and it seals better. The stuff I have requires some force to keep it sealed whereas the other stuff just kind of molds to fill a gap.
