Hello smokers of the world , CannabisGuy is here:leaf:

I have a grow closet , 1.40c tall,0.70c width ,0.40c depth.

I wanted to use 400W HPS but the seller said that in this size it will be too hot , and i should use 250W.
But on the other hand he said that whatever i grow under 250W , will not get any close to the potential of the herb.
That only the 400W will really squeez out all the potential of the herb.

What r you guys think ?

(eventually i purchased two 250W,one HPS & the other MH)

if your worried about heat along as u have just a little more room and literally less than 40 bucks u can make your own buy some 2x3 from home depot check out jorge cervantes ultimate grow he builds a grow room his is kinda big but it will give u an idea how easy it is you really dont need that much room for a 400 3x3x3 should be fine i might make it a little taller so i have more room to work

I think you're looking at the wrong tent. And your 250 watts X 2 does not equal 500 watts. You got lights to grow little plants with.

cant purchas a grow rom cause i have hight limit, so i built one my self.

Adequate ventilation is problem not room size. Go 400 after you sell 250 hps shoulda got one digital your retailer is lame.My 3'/3'/3' 400 hps closet don't know cms.

to answer your question, what the seller said is true the 250w will give you good buds in the space you have but it wont unlock the true potential of your bud like a 400w,600w or 1000w would. 250w is fine. good luck CG.

And you didnt put much thought into it.
1.4 metres in hieght ,lets break it down shall we? The light hang =30cm ,canopy= 60cm, pot = 30 cm ,total= 1.2 metres so that leaves you 20cm to grow a plant :dunce:. Back to the drawing board.

Also that is easily enough light, to grow solid heavy nuggets you need 50w per sq/ft and in that tiny room a 250w will give you 100w per sq/ft.

400 cooltube or aircooled hood hung with a 6 inch fan attached to the end venting the hot air.

80 bucks for a hydrofarm 6 inch 400 cfm fan on ebay
200 bucks for a nice 400 ballast and hood with bulb on ebay

shove it in your tent and your set.
