Light Question

Ok: i just build a pc case with 2, 26 watt, 2700k cfls. They are really bright and look awesome. I wanted to buy some 6500k's for vegging but all i could find was these little 18watt (75watt eqiv) 6500k's. Would I be ok with 2 of them or should I hook up 3?

As many as you can use while keeping the heat down.

If you can hook up ventilation and run more lights do it. You can never have enough cfl light

I dont wanna shit on your parade but from my exp with CFL's the minimum you should use is 42Watts. Trust me if you can get your hands on them....Which you should be able too, the results would accually SHIT on the results you would get from 18W. Also make sure to keep the light as close to the plant as possible.

the more light the merrier but do what you can while still keeping heat down and humidity levels ok so your plant doesnt hate you.

stickystickganja, thats what iv'e read but those are the only 6500s i have access to. I have a 42 watt but its 4100k. i was just wondering if they were worth buying but i think ill just need to find a walmart or something, thanks guys
