Was going to try a simple little indoor grow but just don't have enough spare money to be able to do it. My gf has a 4story building that she runs a business out of the first floor. The top 3 levels have been blocked off cause they need remodeled and bats have made their way through some holes into the smaller top attic level. While me and a friend were up their the other day removing bats and filling openings i noticed on the 3rd floor that it appeared to have been a show room floor or something similar at one time. There were roughly 4-6 lights hanging down across the entire span and i walked under one and noticed they were all 300w MH lights(MH appearance but i clearly read 300W). They are wired directly in to the power supply, there are no ballasts that i could see anywhere, would these lights be able to be used to grow? I was just curious because if i stumbled across 6 300w MH lights, then i don't need to worry about buying some lights right now.
