Light Setup

Ive been talking with my friend about a light setup in a 1.20x2.40 tent.

He said that 3 600W HPS lights is the best option for that matter since its 2.88 squared meters @ 60 cm hanging height.
I say that the point is to imitate what happens in nature which is more like 2 HPS and 1 MH of 400w as supplmental light and spectrum correction.


What do you think is better in efficency perspective?
Is it neccesary? will it be beneficial?
Which setup will yield more?

I have the same size tent.
I used 2x600w HPS & 1x400w MH, got decent results.
I'm presently switching over to 3xCMH315w
With the 600w lamps you need a hood or cool-tube, not so with CMH.

btw 2 HPS hooded and 1 mh between hang down with E40
