Glad your sorted, enjoy you growing now.Agreed zypheruk, the lighting was the issue all along. I've since raised to 150W (about 500umoles) and lowered to about 20".
Skoal- definitely not a watering issue, unless possibly underwatering.
Yet his original post says light 12" above. Last post he has "lowered to 20"". Read up a bit on LED and plant issues including calcium deficiency from using them improperly.Glad you sorted it out. Didn’t think light stress would present itself like that.
I’ve never had light stress issues but I use MH bulbs.
When my 135 quantum board is ordered I certainly will.Yet his original post says light 12" above. Last post he has "lowered to 20"". Read up a bit on LED and plant issues including calcium deficiency from using them improperly.
Thanks zypheruk.Glad your sorted
Yeah I recently had my new clones claw like this after having my lights too closely, I use an ES300 that is 3 1/2 feet from canopy at 100% and they are loving it. Good thing about the light stress is that they recover very quickly as long as they weren't burnt. Keep them at 24inches and let the plant grow into the light, you'll know your light is too far if you start getting stretching in veg but honestly doubt that'll happen. Patience.Unfortunately today was a different story. 500umoles was a bit much so I raised the fixture back to 24" and am at 400umoles canopy. Still at 150W, so four inches makes a big difference.
I hardly want to upload this picture from today- mostly because I know what's going on now.
It was also watering day, so some of the appearance can be attributed to that (but not much). I also fed nutrients for the first time, a 1/4 dose FoxFarms Big Bloom 0-.5-.7 soaked the pot until runoff not quite 10%. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Pic is after feeding, yes the soil is supposed to look wet right now. I'm not overwatering.
