Any particular models you would be able to suggest, trying to maximize my true wattage in my tiny space, but I guess I should probably also be looking at ppf and par charts rather than just true wattage
I would not recommend that light. If budget is a priority, two of the HLG QB96 and a driver will cost about US$200, for another US$100 you could go for the HLG 260W R-Spec kit, and if you want the absolute business the HLG 350R or GLA 420 Boards work out to about the same-ish US$550 all excluding shipping and taxes. They will all be perfect coverage (spread and PAR) for your area IMO. With the GLA boards if you ever upsize your area you can attach heatsinks to them and drive them harder to cover the bigger size (up to a 4x4 per their PAR maps on website)

Not to be a pain, but Canada is a special snowflake in that we are close to America, but we don't get nearly as nice of things as America does haha. I didn't see the qb96 alone on https://www.horticulturelightinggroup.ca/collections/led-lamps would you be able to suggest an alternative? I saw the 300L v2 R Spec buy at 585 can that is fairly outside my budget at the moment. I would probably be looking about the 200cdn or less range at the present time. If it is too much to ask, no worries, it's not your job to find me a light haha.

Take a look at Mars Hydro SP150 its designed for a small narrow space. SP150
At 85 watts each I doubt they will flower properly
For the 5 square ft area they are trying to cover they would be getting 34W per square foot. In the video PAR at 12 inches was tested at 887 dead center down to around 400 at the outside in a 2x2. For the tent in question each light would be covering around a 1.5ft square area, the tent is only 36 inches long by 20 inches wide, so the perimeter readings would increase a bit and the overlap would help too.
Appreciate a fellow Ontarian chiming in! We tend to not have the best selection so I will probably just have to be very careful and try to find the best and most honest light in my budget haha.
If you shop around there are 240w double boards for well within your price range. I look to kajiji when thinking of buying lights. Some good deals on site and l dont drive so can get it brought to door. Bought my 600w for 500 can. Got a great deal on it.
