I’ve just started another grow and I forgot to put my timers back to 16 hour of light for veg grow running at 12 hours of light

i’m two weeks into the grow. Is it too late to put to 16 hours of light?

Its blooming up to you either set it back to 18/6 and reveg it or bite the bullet finish it as it is and remember for next time lesson learned its up to you bud thats your options pretty much why would you do it on 16 hours rather than 18? For veg

I’ve always been told at 16 hours for vegetation

If cannabis gets 12 hours of light, it will "flip" to flower, assuming that the plant had gone through enough of the veg stage to be mature. At two weeks, that's very young so it may not flip.

Re. the photoperiod - I grow my photos in veg at 24/0 for the first few weeks and then 20/4 until flip.

If your light schedule is 16/8, the result will be that your plants don't have the opportunity to grow as much and they will not develop as many roots, stems, and leaves as plants that receive more light. Crop quantity and quality will be reduced compared to plants that receive more light in veg.

When I grow autos, I start with 24/0 and then drop to 20/4 for the remainder of the grow.

Since light is the only way that plants can generate food, the more light, the better, up to the light saturation point. As long as light is the limiting factor, you should shoot for 1000µmol of light for your plants. Some strains won't grow at much over 800µmol but I have grown my autos at 1000-1100µmol and my last photo grow was quite happy at 1150±µmol

That’s incorrect for optimal growth. Google it.
Nah 24 hours or 18 is the standard he right i prefer 18/6 you know you lucky u not growing anything thats super sensitive some rhings can still flip at 16 hours like erdpurt for example

You can grow a photo seed on 1212 from start to finish and it will reach maturity before it flowers out. So that being said, your plants should be fine to go back to 16 or 18 hours of light without a revenge or anything like that. At this point you may have lost a little bit of size by losing daylight hours. You may have also started to kick in hormones and induce stretch a little bit earlier so we'll see

Agreed its worth remembering that some things handle 12 12 from the start better than others tho but like he said tho it wont bloom till it is mature enough anyway u be ok for now
