light times vs heat reduction...

This is my first grow, I am using a CFL however due the the stealth nature of my operation the space I am using is fairly small and therefore can get quite warm. I have a timer that can switch on or off over 15 minute intervals and was wondering weather having a 15 minute dark period every couple of hours to allow cooling is going to mess with my plant. The strain I am growing is an autoflower lowryder #2 and I am aware that lighting effects on these plants is different to many other strains. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I grow easy ryder which very similiar. I would suggest dont mess with your lights they need to be on ideally 20 hours a day minimum. I have mine on 24/7 but i know some poeple chosose to have 18 on 6 0ff. Autos like a lot of light as there only a very short life cycle. You just neext a small fan or exhaust pc fan set up im my opinion

I think that would stress your plant out, maybe try and rework your intake and exhaust with bigger fans, to bring the temps down.

I agree you need to increase the air being pulled out and it will pull that hot air out and force more cool in into the intake holes you cut low. if its only taking 15 minutes to cool down it should not take any effort to pull the air out and keep a steady flow of air from the outside going through, your exhaust should be high as you can get it as heat rises
