Light too hot or fan too small?

Total newbie here.

I have set up a 48”x24”x60” tent with a king plus led 1500watt light and a terrabloom 160 cfm in-line fan. My ambient temperature in the room is 22.5 - 23 degrees Celsius. The temp in the tent with the light on is staying at 26.5-27 degrees. I have the tent flaps open on either side with the inline 160 cfm fan running all day/night. I also have a fan blowing air into the open flap on one side. Planning to pick up a small fan for inside the tent today.

I’m concerned as I’ve read that during the flowering stage the temp needs to be cooler than I’m able to currently sustain. Is the light too big for the tent I have, is my fan too weak? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Excited to be growing, hoping for optimal results!!

How tall are the plants. If the tent is on 60" tall u can only grow plants to like a ft high. Not even worth it. Your light likely needs to be 2ft off the top of the plants. Theres 24"gone already. Without pics its hard 2 say but it aounds like your light is too close to the plants and is too much for that tiny little tent

They just germinated, so no growth yet. Planning on topping and training to get shorter wider plants. How tall does an indoor tent need to be? I think I only saw around 5’ for the width I needed to stick to. The light is about 2 feet above the thermometer. Thanks!!

If you have a 1 ft pot and need 2 ft above the canopy, and 6 inches for the light, that leaves 18-20 inches max for plant.
It's a huge amount of work to fuss over the canopy, getting max growth without the height. Just plan on that to be your future veg tent or read up scrogs. It's just more work and hard to control heat.
The taller tents act as a heat bank also, giving a place for the hot air to rise.

Gotcha, appreciate the replies! Using fabric pots that are 7” and 9” tall (3 and 5 gallon). I didn’t think I’d need anything taller from a tent due to a friend using a space bucket set up with pretty good results. Plants were only about 1.5 feet tall and he got a pretty solid yield - although the light was attached to the lid. But I trust you guys from what I’ve seen on here! Nice thing is I ordered from amazon and they’ll take it back within the 30 day period. Will just reorder a 60”x32”x80” tent to give me the extra room. Wish I’d come here before the set up!! At least the light should be powerful enough for the extra height!

It should be fine.
Leds work better when your environment is around 28degC/82degF.
I run my upstairs grow using my bedroom as the lung room.
As long as I can keep the lung at least 5 degF cooler than the target grow temp, it works just fine.

I Kind of have same issue. Growing in a 4x4 tent , 680 LED inline fan and 2 monkey fans and 1 lasko fan. My prob is my temp keeps going up to 81 not matter how many fans I put in there. What else should I do besides an AC fan. Any suggestion is appreciated.

What size intake fan and how big are the exhaust and intake holes? How is air being exchanged
and how hot is the room that the tent is in getting?

What's the issue?
Low 80's running led's is the sweet spot.

Online fan 6 inch
Exhaust holes 6 inch with foil duct from online fan
Room temp 75

Agreed, 80's is perfect for day temps, with 70 or so night temps will be optimal. 80's is actually perfect for LEDS, try to get the humidity up during veg to match the VPD chart and you will get some explosive growth!

I think the plant grows better when the leaf surface temperature is about 80 degF.
HID throws out a lot of infra-red radiation, which heats the leaf surface so that's why they need to have a room temp in the mid-'70s.
LED's don't have much output in the IR range, so to get the leaf temp up to the sweet spot the room has to be warmer.
