Light Upgrade for 2x2, need help.

I like the chill led, but in order to get the full power out of it you have to run two drivers, it’s something i noticed while watching they’re videos. They have two white channels, blue channel and red and they all run at different voltages.

They’re two light setup wouldn’t be enough and you’d have to go with the 3 modules at $525, honestly it’s a toss up cause you can get a nice cob set up from rapid for a little less. But the chill’s cover a good spectrum of light with the RF and blue chips.

Now your up to 8.6 sq ft which means you should be around 300-320 Watts.

Now this 5 cob Vero kit ($440) from rapid would work out to 315w or for $40 upgraded driver you can get 378watts.

It’s a tough choice.

ChilLed has a custom spectrum with heaps more blue & red
Their way of thinking came from users of white diodes (HLG etc) adding supplementary blue & red boards to boost the spectrum.
I like their way of thinking.
Am happy with the HLG 288V2 excellent plant growth but I reckon my future 2nd tent will likely be lit by ChilLed.

If you get a ChilLED, please let us know how it grows. No one on the forum has one, and I'm very curious to find out if the added monos really make a notable difference. Thus far, I remain unconvinced, but open-minded.

I plan on making the purchase this weekend. I will keep you guys updated on the purchase and the grow! I also want to thank everyone for their advice and input!

Loki Gro did a live stream the other day and showed some new ChilLED gear. Looks pretty dope. Loki was all gassed up about em.(I realize he isn't a forum member {or maybe he is} but didn't know if you knew of anyone growing with them)

Yeah, I watch Loki's YouTube videos now and then. Haven't seen him post any yield numbers though.
