I just picked some Light warrior up a few days ago.....haven't put it work yet. But from what I've researched its a good to mix in with soils that tend to run a little hot. I'll be mixing my light warrior with Ocean forest.

0cean Forest(0.F.) would be 0.k. all the way through if starting with 'clones', but for seeds I would suggest a 'seed starter' type medium. O.F. may be too much nutes for seedlings. I use 'Fox Farm' Seed Starter for the 1st month then transplant into O.F.. So far 4rm my experience I personally don't like the seed starter because it's "time-released" which means that it will dish out nutes whenever it pleases and I think that's the cause of my bottom leaves dying so fast which I really don't mind too much because I know that after the 1st few 0r so, it starts to grow much healthier. But a buddy of mines once gave me a plant to take care of and I noticed that his plant bottom leaves didn't disease at all during it's 1st month b4 I killed it. I believe for a fact that it's due to his grow medium. I don't know what it was he was using but it wasn't soil and it was dry inside the medium and reason I know is because he used a clear plastic container which allowed me to see the roots as well. I will conquer this pet-peeve of mines on my near grows in the near future.

interesting. i havent used any "weed made" soils. ive only used jiffy seed starter. and that thing works for me. i feel like the ph is high tho my meter is telling me 7 right now... but it has little to no nutes which my seedling love. its a good seedling mix cause you just add the nutes whenever you feel like it. but the ph could be a problem.

Light Warrior is awesome for rooting large clones and starting seeds. This stuff is chokfull of bennies and peat(not really a good thing but...) Alittle too much I'd say, cut 1/3 cu ft of coir cube into it for a good seed atrarter. One bag of this stuff to 2 bags of ocean forest or happy frog make a pretty good base mix for super soil.

It isn't worth the money IMO... It is 22 bucks for 1 cubic foot you can get 3.8 cubic feet of Sunshine #4 for 40 bucks

I start seeds in ffof cut with perlite and added ewc. No burns or problems with 5 different crops.

Yea I have read a lot of people say OF is to hot ect. I Germed 5 qush in FFLW and then 4 different strains in OF and no nute burn at all. The Lightwarrior is just too pricey 20$-1cf while OF is only 15$-1.5cf and can be used all the way thru the grow.

earth worm castings... 1 tbsp per beer cup or 1 cup per gallon of soil. I use ffof so I can veg for 7 weeks without adding anything just water it. If I ever burn a seedling then things will change.
