im trying to figure out the the equivalent of hid to led. I have a Gotham black start 240watt led. Does anyone know if it's equivalent to a 150 watt HID does anyone know just need this light for veg. Sorry they are shitty pics.

For that light as a rule of thumb I'd take its actual wattage from the wall and consider it 5% less efficient than HID. I've vegged with blue only just fine before. So read the plants. If they're stretching then lighting isn't enough and of the nodes are all compact and close then you're good.

I ran 3 of these lights,they were dirt genius but made by the same people.I liked them better than the mars I had.I never got much stretch with purple lighting,that's why I run cobs now.

its not bad for veg if its the veg model..i have used them for years..half are burnt out now[circuit board]

they veg way better an an150 hid..flowering..either get a really really good cob light or go hid

I have a 400 watt hps for flower I'm thinking just to keep the heat and electric bill from going crazy is use that led for veg. I have a 5x5 with a 1000 watt light for the big girls. This light is mainly used for a auto flower.

What about a T5 or even T8s for veg? A little slower but probably cheaper to run
