lighting advise

ok im new to all this but i got a lil plant like 3 inches tall and it was in my window and it was growing fairly good but i moved it to my closet and have a light on it and would like to know if this light will work. my freind said that a farmers flood light would work for got what wate it was. but thin i have a black light 60 watt and some one els told me that would work and i had the flood light on and it isnt growing as good as it was in the window . but witch light should i use black light or the flood. and if there is any recomendations on what to use please help sorry for mispellings im high

Sorry to say but neither of those are good. If you are low budget go pick up some 23w cfls from Homedepot,Lowes,Walmart where ever. If you do go to homer or Lowes check out the outdoor security lights they have 150 hps's that would work great for one plant. but what ever you use make sure to keep it away from the plant a little till its picks up some more growth.
