Lighting Autoflowers in 2x4 Tent

I know it's probably already been asked and answered... And I promise I looked and looked, but I'm a shitty searcher...

I just started growing 3 autos in a 2x4 tent.

I have about $200 (maybe $250) to spend on lighting. I was thinking of either T5's or LED (Like a couple 300W Mars Hydro's)

Can anyone make a recommendation?

Check out my thread , I have a 2x2x4 tent and I have 4 autos under 1 300watt viparspectra LED that cost me about 85 with shipping , don't listen to everything you hear about LEDs YES THERE IS SHIT but on the same not there's tons of company's that have come a long long way wth LEDs for the price
 
I have a female under a 600watt ipower at the moment 2 weeks into flower and she's doing great

If heat isn't a issue the i power 600 watt is only about 150 and it comes with Veg light and flower light as well as ballast and hood and it's legit ! That's what's in my big tent

with 250 you are better off going HPS than LED, LED are better but they r much more expensive up front. with a 400w hps u could do really well for the $250 but remember you need ventilation.
 
I'm going to correct what I said , I've never grown with those fluorescent bulbs , but I have expierence with HPS and LED , and you can get multiple viparspectra LEDs for the price of one of those

600watt is the most efficient on light and cost but the 300watt LED I have is also doing fantastic in my 2x4 tent with 4 autos
 
I ended up going with 2 of the Mars 300 LEDs for this grow. I'm in the process of building a couple DIY COB lights for my new space.

I don't know how to white balance the camera on my phone, but here is a bud pic under the lights... Best Hobby EVER!!!
