I have flowering plants 8 weeks into a 12 flower cycle pure stavia strain. I have one 600 HPS light and the plants do not seem to be changing much. I was wondering if I could get a second some kind of floor light I can not hang anything right now due to the tiedowns and room. I was thinking of going and getting a floor shoplight? Does that make sense at this point? I might be impatient I just feel I need more light. Thanks all one this this gal does not have is patience. Does any one have a suggestion on a floor model? My space is 8x4 I plan on redoing and updating after harvest.

Thank You.

How long have you had those bulbs? You get em new or used? could be a bunch of reasons, more info would help. Like how far they are from the plants etc.. Post pics if possible too. If your worried about need more light, get T5 HO & mount them on the wall.

I had them new for 2 weeks now, they were never as bright as the one the went out, I paid 118$ for one bulb the guy said it had a better color sprectrum and I was like okay but it is not the same as the old one. I like getting RI opinions cause I now they see this gal coming and try to sell me everything. My lights are 2 feet from a five feet plants. It is dark stage right now so I can't post pics but will tomorrow. I will look into the T5ho thank you. I have never grew in my life and this last part is stressful.

If they are 5ft tall something must be growing... Flowering isn't immediate, give them some time and try to get your light a little closer..

sativas are gonna take longer to finish than indicas. you could be easily looking at 12 weeks on it so patience is a virtue as they say good lady. t5ho for side lighting would work wonders depending on your budget. if you r handy and willing building some cfl "chandelliers" is fairly easy and would cost less than t5's. i saw some diy's in here on that. definitely don't go and get the halogen shoplights. crazy heat and not worth the headache you will encounter from the heat. wrong light spectrum too if i remember correctly hope some of this helps. goodluck and happy growing
