Lighting Help

Hello All, I need some help or feed back on my set up please. What I have is A Dr60 (2 ft wide by 2 ft wide and about 5 ft tall) with 4 plants going , medium is foxfarm oceanforest , I am using all foxfarm nutes , the room stays at 82 when lights are on and 74 when they are off, I am running 12 hrs on 12 hrs off right now and have been for 4 weeks (plants did also veg for 4 wks) . all plants are blooming (females) and seem to be doing very well for my first grow. My question is about my lighting I have a 150 hps and a glow panel 45 lighting the way , and was wondering if this will be enough light ? ---- Thanks for any and all help!!!!

Im not sure if its gonna be enough to get a big yield....i have a 150 watt hps and 2 flouros putting out 65 true watts each and thas for budding 2 plants my main colas are comin along nicely but im sure if i didnt have tha additional 130watts it would be a different story...i think tha common knowledge is about 50-100watts per plant or more like 75-100 watts per plant so for 4 budding females im not sure i guess it all depends on the height and width of your girls...this is my first rodeo also so my advice to you is to browse through all the post and find tha relevant ones to your situation, there will be many opinions and shit like that but youll have to use your common sense as only you know your grow...Grow on bud and gud luck...any pics?

Thanks for the quick reply as I am looking for any and all help. They all seem to be doing very well, and the light does seem to cover all the tops--and I keep it about 8 inches away. I will try and get some pics for you to check out later today.

2x2 is pushing the limits of needing a 400. A 250 would be bare minimum. But if you cannot afford to upgrade then get as many cfls as possible. Then use them to light the lower budsites.

Always keep your eye out for sales at lowes, i got 2 150w hps security lights for 17 bucks each on clearance! Wooo hoooo but if you cant run across a deal like that I would go to wal-mart and get 2 of there 4foot floros for ten bucks each and then some nice bulbs..but thats just me

I agree that 4ft fluorescents would be great. But the 10 dollar Walmart jobs have the old magnetic ballasts, they make quite a bit of heat. Better off spending 10 more bones at Homedepot and get a T-8 with electronic ballasts. They even have T-5's for under 40.

I would say a 400 watt would be perfect for your space. HTG has them for under 200 bucks.

Cowboylogic has a good point! Go to lowes or home depot they will have 4 bulb t-5or8 for around fourty bucks. But i dont think they would be good for flowering I use mine in the vegg room.

But if you want an ounce or more per plant 400w is the way to go. I have one for sale if you were in the great state.

Fluoros are what they are. Sure the buds will be fluffy, just the way it is. You just cant be to scared to keep them close, very close. And a plus with the T-8s over
the 12s. Less energy consumption and near comparable lumen output. And a much better choice of bulbs. The T-5s. Even better lumen output per watt used. The output from your pocket changes accordantly.

Thanks Everyone for all the suggestions , I went to the hydro shop today lookin around checkin stuff out - well any way I came home with another 150 hps, so now I have 2 of them working side by side. Anyway I think my girls will be more happy now. I also removed the glow panel 45 and will only be using it for future veg cycles. I will be showin some pics when I locate my camera.
