Not a system, not a set-up, not a hood, but a bulb.

Certainly this is a logistics thing and there's no sense quarreling over it. My objective was to make certain that no newbs run out and buy HPS bulbs thinking they can just screw them into a light socket like a CFL. HPS bulbs require a ballast and that is common knowledge. But this IS a Newbie Central thread.

I wouldn't have felt it necessary to explain this if you had simply left the word "bulb" out if your original message. :oops:

Your right man, I didnt even realize the thread was started in the noob forum, but yeah I should have been more thorough in explaining the hps and MH lights compared to fluoros

what you guys think :weed: so i should put her under a 2700k Cfl?

it glows on the cats eyes!!! how smelly is the plant, im starting a plant in my room also

And the only reason that my 4 big leaves are missing and some bitten it's because of a damn cat. (not the one on the picture)
