Lighting on a budget

Yes to a degree if you keep you plant like 1ft x 1ft.
5000k isn't a great spectrum as far as cfl is concerned , better with 2700k.
6500k is good for veg, sometimes too good, you can end up with 10 internodes and a 4 inch tall plant.
You can do the same thing with screw in LEDs.
Aim for 45-50w per square foot.

There are some stupidly cheap LED bulbs on amazon.

So rn i have a daylight9.5w 5000k led and a brinks 4-u 65w 6500k compact fluorescence...would these work for veg and flowering.
Not very well. Is a few days worth of smoke worth 3 months time investment?

At the least I'd say invest another 20$ and get a pack of sylvanna brand LEDs at walmart in the 2700k (better) to 3500k range (ok), some socket adapters, and a power strip.
That atleast will double your and yield but it's still going to be so low I wouldnt do it myself.
I think to grow you should be at the minimum ready to spend 200-300$, otherwise everything you buy cheaply will do so little good your wasting your time and what you buy to get by wont be useable when you finally find the money to do a better job.

As for investing in a better grow im just experamenting with some clones of an outdoor girl i found recently. Im not in the best spot for a big grow.

Ok so i need to switch out the 5000k for a 27-3100k?
Yes and you need to be running at least 40 watts. Your probably only going to get 1/4 that in dry weight. If you can get to 100 watts you'll atleast enjoy what you get (will be higher quality) and there will be a bit over a oz

To an extent yes. Too few watts and the buds while be wispy and thin and taste bad. Once you reach a threshold quality goes up to another notch.

What you posted a photo of however being highly sativa I wouldnt even grow inside, it's going to be around 12+ weeks flower time and always have wispy thin sativa buds. Outside it may give 0-500+ gram of smokable bud. Sativas are hard to guess because they take so long to finish sometimes that depending of the climate they may just turn to mold.
