Lighting questions for indoor Hydro

bongsmilie Hey guys...

I have a few questions maybe someone can help with. I am moving indoors and setting up a hydro garden. I was going to go with CFLs because of the heat factor and I want to keep it small.

I'm using two hydro-6 units and planned on putting two full spectrum CFLs per unit overhead using parabolic light units (250 max wattage) I bought at Walmart. Maybe adding two, two-bulb floures grow lights along the sides, eventually to add light saturation.

So, I'm shopping there for stuff and I see these small, 65 watt Halogen bulbs that kick out 750-900 lumens, depending on which ones you buy ($3.00 each).

They say they produce natural light like daylight. Would these work for a small grow? I am doing low ryders, exclusively, no veg, straight to flowering. I have had several successes with the LR in the yard and want to try it indoors.

Any suggestions on the lighting?

Can I use the giant white CFLs from Walmart or do they have to be correct spectrum CFLs that cost 5 times as much.

I'm planning on ordering four of those critters, but was wondering about the mini-halogens. Still want to stay away from the heat and venting issues...tks

Yeah you should be fine but I would suggest AT LEAST 1 week, if not 2 of VEG. Other than that it seems like you have your stuff together....
