Lighting with 4 plants max?

Hey guys I am new to growing and I just need to know how much light I am going to need for my grow. I am planning on growing 4 plants max at a time underneath my stairs. I can't decide if I am going to buy the new aerogarden and just try to grow 2 plants at a time because of the size of the reservoir, or if I am going to buy a DWC setup. Anyway I am just wondering how much light of MH and HPS I would need in either case. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

This system looks way better than the Aerogarden and its cheaper than the new aerogarden coming out, I don't see why people wouldn't just buy this? Anyway let me know what you guys think, and if I were to grow 6 plants at a time do you think I would need more light than what this bubbleponics system comes with?

i looked at that one myself. but if it's your first grow, id go with soil because there's less room for mistake. as far as lighting goes, a 600w MH/HPS combo system would work very well.

So you guys think growing a couple plants using soil is the best to do for a first time grow? I'm thinking of planting 4 seeds so hopefully 1 or 2 will be female. Also since I am going to grow using soil what lights do I need, I am assuming I still use a MH for veg and HPS for flowering. Also how often am I supposed to feed them and when and how much water do I give them? I'm pretty clear on how to grow using aeroponics because I've researched it quite a bit, I am just not sure if growing in soil is harder? easier? or somewhat the same procedures. Any help would be great thanks.

Hello K,
I'm curious if you bought this system or have ever bought from Stealth. I recently (11/13) ordered a 1000w switchable HID light from them. After receiving an order confirmation.....nothing. I called four times before I got through an actual person at support. He didn't have a clue what was going on, sounded like he comsumes ALL his product. Do you know anything about their reputation?
