so ive been growing 13 plants, flowering four weeks now, platinum bubba, master kush, and king louie 13, using 2 600watt hps. one bulb burnt out switched to 1 hps and 1 mh. any info will help. first time grower surprised on how well im doing!! pictures soon! any help will benifit!!!

ebay bulb yo. look for one with fast shipping. and running an mh bulb is better than no bulb at all.

thats true! i just bought the bulbs two months ago, no reason it shouldve burnt out. and im strapped for cash thats why i hooked up the MH. hey how do i upload pictures to this site?

call the place you ordered them. they should have a year warranty if they are good bulbs. also ebay bulbs. cheap. like 30 bucks a bulb for the cheapers but at least its hps and not mh.

From my understanding mh in flower has its own set of benefits. I've flowered clones under a 400w mh before and the plants turned put just as dense, heavy, and resin coated as the mother plant under a 1000w hps.

yea im definately gonna call them today, i ordered from Apollo lighting. i was pissed i woke up this morning and 1 light was out, this is my first crop and surprisingly doing well. cool i figured it out thanks

yea my friend grows with both during flowering, i decided to do HPS, but now im 4 weeks into flowering and this shit happens, i ust hope it doesnt affect my harvest severly. do you know any house hold products i can use to deodorize the smell?

You can make a DIY carbon filter pretty easy, there is some how to's on here, or just google it. Otherwise, lots of people use the stuff called ONA which is supposed to absorbs smells.

I can gaurentee your not gonna hurt your harvest by having the mh up there. Until you get the replacement bulb, you could even rotate the plants so they get both lights in even amounts.
