I have 2x 600hps in my 1.2 x 2.4m tent with 12 plants......

I have just got a 1.5 x 3m and plan on 18 plants....

Should i add another hps? Or 315cmd

I wont try led as cant even get my 80x80cm veg tent set with a vipar spectra p1000!
Thanks in advance

2x 1000w minimum.
A light mover would be good too.

Leds are much easier in flower than veg in my opinion. But I can appreciate your apprehension

Will my 8" rhino fan be ok or shoud i be renewing that for the summer
Hard to say.

Last I used HPS in flower I had an 8x4 with 3x 600w cooltubes with an 8" isomax silenced fan and that was fine for me in Yorkshire, bar the odd silly heatwave for a week.

Would of been different without cooltubes.

I'd do lots of research. I've not used 1000watters in a tent situation . I know some people do.

Highly recommend some sort of air cooled extra large hood cuz it makes a massive difference for both heat and light distribution

@coreywebster If u dont mind me asking lighting do you use in what space,
I've used all sorts over the years but once I started perpetual I went with 400w mh ( or 315cmh)in a 4x4 veg tent and originally 3x 600w hps in 4x8 flower tent.
Then I discovered LEDs several years ago when COBs started becoming the highest efficiency.
So built my own COB set up covering one half of that flower tent, then quantum boards came out just in time to light the other side..
Then Grow lights Australia (before they were official) brought out a new high cri board and I bought 4 of them and retired the COBs (loaned them out).

So currently I'm only just getting back in the swing of things in My own set up since I moved.
That's a 1x2m veg tent, half is for harvesting space, 1x1m for veg with a 400w mh.

Same 4x8 flower with 600w of grow light Australia "high light" boards Over one half and about 560w of Quantum Boards over the other.

With the aim to crop one half every 5 weeks.

I've got a little cupboard for clones and seedlings, though I rarely start seeds.

That's about all I can fit in this room otherwise I'd of gone with two 4x8s
