Lights set up

Question, I'm a new grower just finished a grow and produced about a good 3 ounces. I used 3 cfl 100watt bulbs and miracle grow the grow took 8 months for the grow to finish. This time around I'm looking into either a grow box or may HID's this time and maybe a different type of soil and nutrients any suggestions?

I use Pro-Mix, but for a small batch I recommend FoxFarm OceanForest potting soil. I use FoxFarm 3 part nutrients and a molasses mixture for bloom booster. I got great results once using 4 23w Daylight CFLs and a 150w HPS in a mini-compact setup that I purchased from HTG for $80 shipping included. This setup produced 4 ounces from a Blueberry plant in a 6 sq. ft. area in a period of 5 weeks veg, 11 weeks bloom.

Morning addicted. Just curious as to what you were growing in, box, outside, etc that made your grow take 8 months. And how many plants to yield 3'o. Did you start under the CFL's and move them outside?

I used miracle grow in a 1 gallon pot, i used the cfls the whole time and it was a closet grow. It didn't come out to bad but it definitely took long and buds could have turned out better but i was just happy it grew since this was my first time

Well sadly I can't give you much for tips besides asking these pro's like you've done as I'm a new gardener myself but none the less good job and hopefully your next grow goes as good or better!!
