i have a 4 seedlings on is about 4-5 inches tall and the other 3 havent even broke out the soil yet. i have a 400w hps reflector and it is 12 inches away.....should i move it closer???
lights too far away????

I run 430s and they are about a foot off the canopy with two weeks left on trainwreck clones I have two new sixes I cant use when its hot even with a 7000 btu stand alone ac.those 600s put out some heat

yehh thas cool u worked in winston...well im growing under my house its a double wide and i think wen the winter comes im gunna have big probs with the cold. But anyways i have had 2 of those seeds in there since 9/11/09 and neither have sprouted...its on a 12/12 cycle with a fan going wen the light is on. i didnt germinate the seeds. do u think thats y its taking so long for them to pop up?

I always germ in a white cloth on a paper plate keeping them moist,all my seeds uaually pop in two days.I just germed 33 and did not loose a one.If the seeds have not popped I have got them out of soil and put into cloth,thats why I germ in cloth,mine did not come up good either They still may come up but I buy high dollar seeds and cant waist them,Im a fellow southerner from Johnson City TN.I basicly use clones now but Im gong to grow these strains from sub from seed and keep about 6 mothers from his gear.Im looking for the tiny bomb pheno.I built the RJ reynolds plant they just closed down, that was in 1983

i lived in a trailer when i first started growing.
it was my first house and i tried to do the
same thing (grow under it) but when it
gets cold your going to have to bring the
plants inside to a closet or something.
also yes if you didnt germ the seeds they
can take a while to start growing full effect.

damnnn that is exactly who im looking for....someone who has done what im trying. i live with my mom so its gunna be impossible to bring them inside i need some way of stablizing the temps down there, and winter is coming soon in North Carolina. what do you think i should do???

How much room do you have,a small portable heater might work.I grew in a dudes shed in the winter and we just turned a quarts heater on at night,the lights will work during the day,We just set the timer for two hours after light went off

I backcrossed punna butter from th seeds and made f2 seeds one hermied on me and threw out some pollen yesterday. I have over 60 clones and hope they did not get much.They are on day 35 and looking sweet.I made pot of gold crosses and they have been the bomb.Pot of Gold xMandala#1 is blue as hell and resin from hell

yoo its under my house i know for a fact im gunna have to go pick up a heater wen the temps drop but im not really sure how long i need to leave it on....its not in a grow box or anythign enclosed just open space under my house.....did u turn it on for 2 outta 12 hours after the light went out?

Install timer and run on low at night,you could take scrap plywood to make you a box,You will have to adjust as the weather gets colder The lights will provide heat while they are on

yehh i know the lights will prolly keep it warm enough while they are on....im just worried about the heater being on a lot the power bill will go up even more and im with my mom so idk wut to do....

you can get a small heater from wal mart for about $20 ( i have one in my bedroom) they
are only about 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide, they put off a lot of heat and have built in thermostats so it kicks off when it gets too hot.
BUT, you would have to make sure there
is nothing around the heater that could
possibly catch on fire (wich is hard to do in a trailer)

i mean its under my house...its not in it. its just all red dirt under the house and shit nothin really flammable ill make sure nothin bad happens
