lights

Ok I am reading all these post ppl put about lights, i guess i have an incandescent light and that is not good. ( it is blue and is like 60 watts i think) I don't know it was given to me, anyways when i go to buy a new light where and what kind of light i am getting confused by reading all these different post and i red about the spectrum and stuff but it just confusses me more!!!!! can some tell me what i should do in plain english...lol( come on stoner here...lol) I mean i am reading these and it sounds like i can just go and buy a fish tank flouresent light or what ever is that true if so those don't cost much i could do that and should i use that and the light i have now i feel so lost hope some one can help me....and no i am not blonde just lost....lol

go grab the biggest hps you can afford you will be happy with the results!!!!!!

How much can ya spend on lights and how much can ya afford fer yer monthly bill to be? If money is not an object, HPS is High Pressure Sodium, MH is Metal Halide, and HID is High Intensity Discharge. CFL is Compact Fluorescent Lighting

HPS is the best and most expensive way of going.

ok i see you grew with cfl lights where can you get them? and what about flourcent lights? ok lets doit this way give me a cheap set up that will work good but does not cost much...lol

those light bulbs i sen in your pics look like regular light bulbs

The ones in my pic ARE regular bulbs, they are 26W CFL's, available ANYWHERE, Yes flouros work, many good set ups on here, just hit that search feature

Shouldnt hurt

you should tell us how much you can spend on lights? how big is your grow area, and what is it's environment like? If your growing in a small area.. and ventilation is an issue then you will want to use some smaller wattage lights. For best results in the lower watt range, good results have been seen with a 250watt hps bulb and it will give you the right spectrum of light to flower and vegitate. I think you can find lower 175 watt HPS lighting as well.
Those are some suggestions, but more info would be good.

ok so i went to the store and got three 26 watt cfls can't wait to see what happens thanks for all the help
