lite heigth??

I've got 4 Kush ladies under a pair of 600w hps about 2-2.5 weeks into flower. I had them in LST until a few days ago and turned them lose to go for the light and they do look happy. How high should I keep my lights from the top buds? Right now they're 26-28" and temps are just about 78-80 lights on at canopy height.

Place your hand at canopy level, if it is too hot for you it will be too hot for your plants. You can use this method to determine how close you should place your lights to your plants. Good luck & good growing.

I'm not worried about being too close, I'm concerned with being too far away at this stage. What I'm looking for is the buds to fill out and a nice harvest. with 2 600's in a 3'x5' area, realistically can I get too far away? Am I going to get better fill and growth up close or let them stretch a bit. They're already in flower, I just don't know about what it takes to get them to fill out.

I'm feeding by FF guidelines and adding molasses every other feed.
