thanks for the help mate, bottom leaves were from me not phing the water way back... fixed that problem... its not a light issue, i got a nice big cf from the hydro shop sitting right on top.

I fixed the ph, they started growing much better but two days later started getting pailer in their green color, and leaves started clawing... cant figure out where im going wrong... water is nutes and ph's plenty of light...

maybe i should just tray a 1/3 perlight 1/3 soil and 1/3 coco when my next seeds come....

Cany anyone offer some advice?
hhhmmmm......I still think it's the light. PH will not do that. Ph will inhibit the intake of nutrients and slow growth. Also produce less glucose and lower energy. Also your plants are droopy and they do not arch upwards. Maybe you should try bringing the light closer or making a reflective hood. Make sure the spectrum is where it should be too which it probably is. Again that is just my opinion. Whenever that happened to me it was because light was not hitting the lower leaves, I used a 400 watt MH convertible to HPS at the time too and I did not have a reflective surface for light to bounce back to the plant.

If you can make it work then it is all up to you. I personally am going to get the coco to try out. If you do mix in a compost I suggest earthworm castings but see I don't know crap about coco. It's what works best for you.

As for your watering, as long as your substrate is as moist as a wrung out sponge then your'e cool. Again you are the only one who will know. If you pinch some of it and it is moist then that is the way it should be always.

Water deeply, less often - a wise gardener's advice to me and she was right.
