put out a couple bowls of water+joy detergent. the yellow + sweet attracts them, your bowls will be filled with carcasses daily ;).

if all else fails, use physan20. it kills EVERYthing.

i think you must lower humidity too.and if your grow room is next to a kitchen just make sure you wash the dishes every day.of course no other plants must be around.i had some flyin round.i lowered humidity didnt water a lot and they are dying.i also put some potato slices on the soil and caught one or two.i think sand will work.just i read somewhere here that can lower oxygen for the roots.good luck

Thankyou. I'm going to take the sand out after a couple days or so.. Hope this gets the larvae and the sticky traps finish off the adults

They literally almost vanished overnight. Added sand from a playground over the soil, added one more sticky trap and smoked a couple cigarettes in the room last night and it seems as though they are almost extinct. There days are outnumbered! Once again, thanks RIU!

I plan on removing the sand in a day or two. Hopefully they dont get revenge and make a return.
