Little Bastards

I've got an assortment of high quality bud started (10 days old) and just want to know what others think about a couple small plants. I've got 9 plants growing under a 1000 W. HPS at 18/6. One plant is a freek'n crazy SOB going nuts with growth and the next 6 plants look about the same. Nice little green plants like they should be. Then there's two that had their initial sprout,.. opened up the little initial leaves, but that's about it. They're just little sticks with what looks like green winged bugs sitting on top. They seem stunted but may be growing ever so slightly. I just don't want them getting too far behind the others before it might make sense to re-sead those two. Give me some feedback on this. Maybe it's nothing and they'll start growing in a couple days but I don't know for sure and I'm getting sick of waiting. It's been about 4 or 5 days at this point. I had a great crop two years ago and I can't remember if I had any slow starters so that's no good. They're green and healthy looking,..they just don't seem to grow.

I can't say for sure without pics but stunted seedlings are most commonly from overwatering. Be sure to wait until at least the top third of the soil is completely dry before watering.

Little Bastards 002.jpgLittle Bastards 001.jpgHere's a couple of pictures. The larger plants next to them are what all the others look like. The plants are not the same genetically. One is Barney's farm LSD and one is White Widow (which I had great success with two years back). I "may" have given a little more water than necessary in the beginning but I've dried them out pretty good the last few days. As you can see the bins are sort of clear plastic so I can see how much moisture is in there which helps keep me from giving too much. I did just add a little water tonight though. Green they are, just tiny.

Just a bit of common sense from doing a bit of gardening but planting them in like that could cause trouble in the near future when repotting cause the plants roots may entangle with each other which will result in damaging of the roots when trying to untangle these and repotting. Ive done this with plants and they died due to much stress and damage so it may happen to these if u need to repot later

I've found that having only 3 plants in tubs of this size works out well. The soil does become completely "stiff" with roots but with nutrients and watering the plants do very well. No need to repot. At least no plans on it.

I never said I had buds Mr. samurai. I said buds as in a general term for marajuana. Didn't think anyone would have trouble interpreting that. They are all feminized seeds so we aint talkin male plants either. Anyway, regarding the "constructive" feedback, I will try to lower the lights a bit. You may have a point there mtndew4lyfe. I wonder if Barney's LSD isn't such a good choice if Budalushious is having issues too. I was recommended this from someone here on Rollitup when I asked for some new choices to try this year. Hopefully they'll take off soon.

Bro ANY Feminised seed, has a 25-30% chance to hermie. From my experience, it looks like a hermie.

Also, what soil are you using. looks like straight up peat moss. Roots need a good bit of oxygen to thrive. I recomend (if things start going sour for ya) adding some perlite to that soil. about 5-6% perlite / soil. Otherwise, look into FFOF soil for you next grow. (Fox Farm Ocean Forest) The soil is AMAZING. It's got perlite in it, no slow release nutes like MG soil, and it's packed with earthworm castings. One bag of dirt that i highly recommend.

When you're near harvest time, for these babies, remember this. 20 minutes before you chop, water the plants vigorously. You will be pleased. Good luck man, i'm anxious to see how that LSD turns out on CFL.
