My plants are still maturing, the hairs arent turning orange, and the buds are small. Problem is, is that its getting down to about 3 degrees at night. Should i just harvest my immature plants or wait?
how many do you have and when did you plant it full age. is it in the ground / pot? what var. ech. but some plants are ok till nov. but i dont think so in england. it was freezinglast nite nearly were i am.
you can cover your plant with a large clear plastick bag at night,it will only give you a bit of protection, but i dont think there is anythink else you can do????
try to bring it into the house/garage if you have one?.. if you cannot.put a plastic dustbin or somthing over it. i did last year. but depends how big your plant is.? you havent said?. are you from england cos it was that cold were i live , last nite about 2 deg...woudnt suprise me if it snowed tomorrow, cos, the summer has been shit...in fact the shitist summer ive known for 30 years id say
you can get some of those cheap hand warmer things...OR put a lightbulb under the plastic and anounce to the world you're trying to keep a pot plant from freezing!
keep checkin the weather, where i live it was 2`C the other night.. lookin at the forecast now its only gunna drop down to 10`C anytime in the next week.. try to keep the plants outside (provided they're planted, just bring em in if they're in pots) and let them finish.. i always try to keep them out rather than harvesting, i love watchin them buds swell during the last few weeks of growth
Okay so im convinced my plants will be fine, it isnt going to drop below zero where i am. Its gotten close though, around 2 degrees... One plant is about a meter and 15 cm high. The other is about a foot, but it kind of snapped in half when it was a sprout and repaired itself. I planted them early July so theve been growing for just over 2 months.
