the leaf tips on my plants have been turning borwn. at first i though i may have had my lights to close so i backed them off a bit yesterday and turned the exhaust fan up a little to keep it cooler. but today ive notices it affecting 2 more leaves. they were watered yesterday. growing in SeaSoil container gardening mix with perlite (1.2 0.3 0.05). new growth seems healthly but the older the leaf is the more of this i see on it. any thoughts?
lights are 2 39w t5 ho's and a 180w LED

Seeing how you just watered yesterday it looks like nute burn. Did the plants show this before watering them yesterday???

here i just took this pic
the browning was mostly there yesterday just on the first set of leaves, now its on the second set. the tips of my 2 white widow seedlings also have a little browning and theyve been like that pretty much since they put there leaves out

Any old growth that has the browning on it will not turn green again. Pay attention to the new growth. As long as the new growth doesnt show this, you will be fine.. It looks like a little nute burn. I could be wrong, so see what others say. But assuming its nute burn, just ease off the nutes next time you water....

no nutes in my water, but my soil is pretty high in nitrogen. the new growth looks fine so far so if its nute burn im hoping the plant will grow out of it as it gets bigger and handle the soil better

To much nitro can def. do that to leaves. I had that problem early on in my current grow...All my new growth since is good though, no browning.

i see that they fortify the soil with fish protein..fish protein burnt my plant before. the stuff is the best, the most powerful.

i wouldnt worry about it. plants are looking good.

yes thats why i choose it. organic fish soil from British Columbia, hell yeah lol. plus i saw positive things posted about it when i searched. i choose there lightest mix. i like it it has very good drainage, but still holds moisture well. my 2 autoflowering plants have really taken off in it, the widows are doing good to, there tips are a tiny bit brown on the first set of leaves, but the second set seems to be coming in fine, they are a bit younger. i may replant the widows into 5g pots of the seasoil purple bag mix for flowering since it has a lot more phosphours. im not flowerign the widows until after i harvest the autos.
