little flying bugs

hi all i was wondering i was going to put up fly strips to hang so those flying bugs would go on it because there are like 4 or 5 in my grow closet i killed 3 so far but they keep on coming back. this is my first grow. and i don't want to have my plant die. also what is the name of the sticky stuff you put on top of the soil to catch those bugs too? what other tricks do you all know to get rid of those bugs? they look like knats hope i spelled that right

I have them too. Just get a cup with some soda in it. They will drown in it.

Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of your soil. Seriously...........

and i use go gnats, but its basically a cedar wood extract.
im sure you could find it pretty cheap at a local store.
