strain- acorn (snowbud) Thseeds today is 40days from seed- toped at 3rd node on 11-30
600MH 16" from canopy
soil is FFOF/FFLW 50/50
3gallon root pot- top dressed with powered dolomite/4 tsp and 1tbsp 0-5-0 guao at roots when transplanted
only giving AACT with molasses and fish emulsion
flushed today with 7.0 AACT 600ppm, and runoff was 2800ppm/6.0ph eventually I was able to bring it back up to 6.4 and the ppm to 1890
foliar spray 1tbsp/gal Epsom Salts every 2-3 days and B-52 every 4 days.
RH-60%
Temp-78F
light- 24/7
everything Is automated via a greenhouse controller except feed/water.
I have treating for mag deficiency, but does anyone think mabey it's underfed and lacking Nitrogen?

looks like a high ph to me, its about the only prob that makes leaves dark green, lookn healthy, and droop down like that. if your temps are good and it isnt too wet, I would say ph. You say its been going on for 2 weeks now? the best time to fix a ph prob is within 24-48 hrs of it happening. after that it continues to lock out nutes one at a time untill you are left with a plant that wont get better.. untill the ph is restored to a 6.4-6.8 range. and it will take up to a week to fully correct the prob.

It also looks like the ph might be recovering, the new pics, the leaves are standing up and look almost right. Try too pick out the worst looking plant, give it some extremely low ph like 4.5-5.5 until it runs out the bottom. then test the run off and it will tell you close to what your what your soil is. if its low like 6.0 5.8 5.6 then its not the ph being to high, if it comes out 6.8 7.0 the ph of the soil is around 7.6 or so. im having some of the same problems with a few of my plants.... I found the ph was climbing every 12 hrs untill lock out and leaves droop and look like death. I took the worst one and gave it 4.0 water, twice the size of the pot, so 2 gallons later and 24 hrs later they are perked up, newest leaves recovering, and looking like they should.

IMO, no need to give Molasses yet (It IS unsulphured, yes?), but at 40 days, I would think you're ready to start feeding good. (more than you are now).
If you just top dressed with the Lime, it's going to take a while to dissolve, so I agree with getting your runoff up before you start throwing nutes at it.

you know what strangley enough I have been having low PH. like 5.9-6.1
I always oxygenate and stabilize everything that I give them. You think they look dark huh? Im sure my pictures don't do justice, however starting at the base the leaves are lime/yellow with a few having necrosis at the tips. Then towards the top and new growth has starting at the tips, yellowing down towards the base of the leaf. The veins remain green and in between the margins it's yellowing. Im more of a hydro guy than organic soil, so this shit is really trying my fucking patience.

the AACT Is ph at 7.0 - 8.5 for a 1 gallon pot I run 2 cups of AACT that I have stableized at 6.5ph I test the runoff and it's 5.9-6.1ph so then I add 2 more cups stabilized at 7.5ph I test runoff and it's 6.4 wait a few days and it's back down to 6

Yes unsulfured. The lime was in fine power form. I thought powdered works faster than granular. Do you think think all the fish emulsion is lowering PH so.

I got ta tell ya, Im really thinking about putting this chick in a dwc and seeing what she can do cuz Im really not sold on this organic thing just yet I have really no control over my plants. (close but no cigar) Or I think I have a bag of FFLW laying round. Or I should run 50//35/15--perlite/compost/peat or coco. Eiher way I not diggin this soil.

sorry for the delay. But thanks for being so prompt to help.
No problem....
I hate to throw a wrench into your grow....
Except, The only time that I had similar coloring It was:
"Over Nuted Soil"
I mixed a batch too heavy with nutes....
The tips are burnt slightly, old high nutes...
The new color is stripped fading green/to light dark green, very suttle...
If I had this issue, I'd it only give good water for a week...
So good luck...
Personally I would never make a wholesale change ....
Just slightly lower nutes, after water for one week....
Your leaves look like that because what happened 7-10 days ago...
So, what change did you do 7-10 days ago?

Hey here's a thought- you think that mabey my PH is droping because I brew bacterial dominant tea. Even tho the Ph is 7.0-7.5 , or I adjust it to 6.5 , due to the dominance in bacteria, they are creating a favorable PH and it's acidic. Also cupled with the fact that the soil is a dual mix of peat. I didn't add lime t the time of blending. But both soils are said to be PH'd already. My organic fertz 10-4-10 soluable powders/organic acids/yeast/amino acids would fill in the gaps. It has a part A+B part a is strong-ca/mg+fe base and part b is kelp,amino,humates/fulvates,b vits, yeast, molasses, alfala, yucca. But I have not yet given that. FFOF is said to be hot, so I cut it at 50/50 with light warrior. Not sure WTF went wrong. AACT wouldn't cause this. It's something else I just cant pin it down

Topped 10 days ago. then transplanted after she responded and resumed growth on the 2d day. So I am expecting her to be slightly slow, but not discoloring to the degree that signifies a deficiency.

"N" toxicity preents ti's self with dark green color and plant leaves look like "claws" Yourplants if anything show the start of nutrient toxicity, flush for one week and adjust nutrients

its all the extra bullshit your putting in the mix.. ffof is good all the way thru a grow.. if i add anything its a lil bloom to get thick nuggs and thats it.. WATER WATER WATER the MOST IMPORTANT thing to a plant other then sun.. JUST WATER will work wonders.. if you want extra nutrients use RAIN WATER..

You know what I think it is too. That's the only variable I can think of.

  • Topped 10 days ago. then transplanted after she responded

Also, your soil transplanted into might have been a little "HOT"....
Like others say, just water....
Just a little over ferted...
And Good Luck man... I think it will come back....
And.... Thanx...

as far as the 1890 ppm coming out in the runoff. Everytime I flush to correct ph this ppm goes down and so does the nutrient value.

Ro? Or tap is what I use. ro+di=0ppm. Dechlorinated tap=180
