Curious how this will work out. A few tips from a stadium grower:
Build the first shelf at least 18" off the floor. More would be better. In time you will find working on the plants always bent over will be a real pain. Literally. When maintenance becomes a hard chore, it doesn't get done as well or often.
You can save money by using 2-2x4s for shelving instead of 2x8. Just make sure everything is level.
I have 8ft. stadiums, but use 5x600W instead of 1000s. 3xHPS and 2xMH. I think I get better coverage.
Making both sides mobile will make your life a lot easier. Hang lights on hooks with steel pulleys (Lowes) and simple clotheslines tied to a wall hook. It's sooo much easier to work in there with the lights out of the way.
It's a big waste of light to not have plants on the end. A shelf of some kind the same height as the middle or top shelf can hold two plants on each end.
