Hi guys. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here. Had kids, got married and moved house ... the house has 2 sheds, and you can guess what I’ve done to one!

overview ...the shed is about 2 metres squared, and has good height. I’ve put reflective Mylar around the shed and running a digi HPS that I can have at 200w , 400 or 600w. It’s currently at 400. I’m running in Veg - I’m about 5 weeks from seed.
Growing well thus far, I’ve topped, tied down etc. Plenty of tops. All fem, I’m running norther lights, bubbleiscious, chem dawg and gelato. The 2 smaller ones are ak48 and GSC auto. Not fussed about these 2. I’m in biobizz all mix , feeding biobizz grow nutrients but at half strength. Using superthive with every water. Love the stuff!
Going 12/12 this weekend.

issues - heat, bugs . No intake or exhaust (might change), no carbon filter. It’s getting around 31 in there mid day, I have a fan in there to help.

I will get bugs - any ideas of what I can do? I have a non toxic foliar spray I can use , but I’ll need more
My goal - some nice clean bud to help with my back issues. this is my 7th grow I think. I have some kinda idea of how it all works now , it’s just been a looong time! Also, I’ve never grown outside in a shed! As we go into cooler months, I’ll have night time in the day, and light on 7pm - 7am .
have a look, comment, advise me .. whatever u want! I’ll update with pics now we are getting to the fun part!

Welcome back bud!

The shed is essentially an oversized tent - treat it the same way. Add vent, cooling, and filter your intake and exhaust to keep bugs out. If you have large gaps, seal them with weather proofing, sealant, foam or whatever keeps them out. Sticky traps would work great too, if you place them all over, and defos keep a prevention spray going. Insulate the shed if you can, heating and cooling a shed is silly, if its just going to escape, and trying to grow in cold or extreme heat does as poorly in a shed, as it does anywhere else. Put the effort in now to make the shed a good place to grow, rather than try to make it work with.. well nothing but a shed to keep it all going! its a small space, so add insulation, cooling, ventialtion and all the usual things you would do with any tent grow. You have some great looking ladies so far, keep them that way, with whatever it takes to make the shed, a great place to call a home for some bud.
