Little White Dots

There are white dots on these leaves. Outside grow. watered when soil is dry. A Little over a month old. Read it may be Spider Mites. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks.

Look for single strands of webbing. Check the underside of the leaves. They are hard to see with the naked eye, but if you study it long enoungh you will see the slowly move around.

I've had them three times - I don't remember them making the white specks on the tops of the leaves...

Thank you so much for your reply, thinking back to it when I was analyzing it two days ago i noticed what looked like a small piece of cob web which at first i thought it was dust. Should i give up on her? Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks again!!

Got a thrip problem myself at the moment, and they are bastards.
Spray, spray, spray, and the little f%%kers still come back...

Personally I've resorted to a pyrethrin based insecticide "NoPest" strip. Had to import that from the states as it's banned in Europe.

to help with this try this its cheap and works well

1. chop 1 onion and 2 medium cloves of garlic
2. put it all in blender with 2 cups of water
3. put in blinder on high
4. strain out pulp put liquid in spray bottle
5. mist on plants make sure to do top and bottoms of leaves will keep most bugs off of your plants

if they're thrips use Monterey garden insect spray or anything with spinosad in it

Most of these oil based sprays will damage your leaves and lower your yield. A mix of 2 teaspoons of Dawn ultra dish detergent mixed with a quart of water and spray as often as you like. Spraer the entire plant well. It's best to wash it off 10-15 minutes after application with a hose or sprayer. This will quite effectively smother most insects including mites/thrips/most anything else. It won't damage the plants, is very cheap and extremely effective. Go to youtube and watch the videos of the Dawn mix kill, kill and kill. I've tried nearly everything on the market and this was by far the most effective.

Woah thank you all so much for the awesome advice, it means a lot to me. I think i may have found the problem its just identifying the pest then killing them!! Also the pest has wings.
