I noticed some very little white worms in my soil the other day. They can't be more than 1 maybe 2 mm in length. These things are tiny.
My plant is in 6th week of flowering and this is the first time ive noticed these critters.
Any idea what they are?
Do they pose a threat to the plant at all?
If so, how can i get rid of them?

I have noticed what look to be fruit flies every so often around the plant. That could be a possibility as to where these white worms came from.
Worse case if i see that the plant starts to decline in health, i will chop a week or so early.

everyones new at some point, don't worry.

as i say, sounds like gnat larvae from other users experiences. i've not had experience. so google up gnat larvae and see what the pictures are like, to confirm etc, and if it's what you're looking at, then google for curing it.

very good idea. Google does it all!
But you were right, i hit up google images and they look exactly like gnat larva. So i read around and most people claim that the larva are not a danger to your plant in anyway. Many people claim that the larva come from eggs placed in Miracle Grow soil, which i am using.
many other people claim that the larva are "mold larva" or something like that and only eat on in-organics like mold.
Considering the larva have probably been there for a while since i have noticed, and i notice no health problems with my girl, i guess they can stay for now. Its chopping time in like a week or so anyway. I just hope i dont open my closet and get a face full of 10000000 gnats some morning. Hahaha
Thanks for the help Tip Top. your the best.

Miracle Grow soil will give you bugs. I can 100% vouch for that statement, but I didn't know they were added on purpose.

Anytime I've used it there have been little gnats flying around. I had a bag of 3 month feed Miracle Grow soil, and that produced so many damned gnats it's not even funny. A bag of Organic Miracle Grow soil produced the gnats as well, but in far fewer numbers. One day I decided to try and sterilize some old soil by microwaving it for a few minutes. When I took the soil out of the microwave and glanced at it, I seen hundreds of those little white wiggly bastards crawling around. I threw that shit back in the microwave for 10 minutes just to kill all of them and threw the dirt outside. No thanks. By the way, don't ever microwave dirt. It'll stink the shit out of your whole house.

Miracle Grow comes with "Benificial bug larvea in the soil that is activated upon watering." - Source Miracle Grow customer service. Just FYI thought this might help.
