Living in an apartment and growing legally

So I am still trying to figure out what my living situation will be when I get to oregon looking at or near portland within a hours drive.
My question is if I am getting an apartment is it cool to bring up the fact that I am OMMP card holder and will be growing a few plants.
I am not sure how that works I dont want to get a place then get evicted for growing.

I have looked at cragslist but mostly if it says OMMP ok its for a house and that my be beyond my budget and would really like to have someplace on a short lease 6 months or so just to make sure its going to work out for me.

So is it OK to call up an apartment complex and ask them?
I really dont want to be doing something thats going to get me in trouble or call attention to myself.
I would be ok with a mobile home park to but not sure if it would be the same type situation where I could get evicted for a legal grow.

You can be evicted for a legal grow if the landlord chooses. I haven't heard of an OMMP friendly apartment complex but I'll bet there is one somewhere.

I am a super quite clean guy no partier just looking for somewhere to live out my days thay may be reamaining and chill and grow planst for personal use.
I have explained my unpredictalble health issues in other threads cancer, so i really dont wantot try and buy a house if I end up in hospice in 6 months.
I just want a nice quite end to my life with something that sounds like it may give me some peace and break from all the drugs i have to take.

I just need someplace under 800 hopefully closer to 600 that is within an hours drive of portland or closer that is ok with a small legal personal grow.
I have cancer and chronic pain with some other gulf war issues so being legal is a not a problem at all card wise I just want to not worry about growing a small amount and getting kicked out.
I have been living with the Ex-wife for awhile and I am thinking it is coming to and end rapidly and I may need to get a place quickly.

Look in the Sunday paper,The Oregonian) for places in Gresham, Milwaukie, Gladstone, Beaverton or the coast. I live in Seaside in a mobile home park that's ok with growing as long as you have a card. I'd ask the landlord right up front about growing with a card. Good luck and when you get to Oregon send me a pm.

Yep actually had a good person offer me some but I am not in carded in the state I live in and I want to make sure I am as legal as possible when it comes to the VA my chemo treatment is $6000 a month that the VA pays for so I must be carefull with them and not lose that or im terminal.
So I want to get to a legal state I like oregon the laws seem good for Medical Marijuana I just need to get a place to live and really just need a small clean place to live near portland within a hour or so anyways closer is better.

I have been calling on apartments but most places tell me no I did have one yes but it was a ways out from portland.
Anyways if anyone know of any apartment complex, houses, mobile homes under 800 that will let me grow please send me a message my living situation where I am at now is not looking good and I may need ot leave sooner then I was ready for.

And I may have asked this before but if I had to buy what would an ounce of some indica good for pain run me up there?

Actually I did run a small resource center out of our townhouse because we have a great relationship with our landlord and still do. We are remodeling a house right now to open a bigger place with same landlord. So I guess we are doing a few thins right
But to get back to the question, you are bound by what ever agreement you make with your landlord. Most apartments are run by management companies and they are very hard to deal with

Move in and ask for a reasonable medical allowance, buy a tent have an electritian set it up and write a reciept. make sure it looks clean and the floor is protected. IT IS NONE of thier business that you are medicating your condition with marijuana. Would you tell your landlord about your vicodin prescription or your antibiotics for the drippy dick? hell NO. Don't be discriminated against anymore my friend, just because we are sick does not make us bad people federal funded programs are not allowed to revoke your privledges as long as you are a law abiding citizen of Oregon, if any of these small minded people try go see a lawyer they LOVE suing the pants off these elitist pricks. N.O.H.A tried to strong arm patients about thier housing and they gave up when several of us began calling lawyers.

Well I thank the people in this thread that have made helpfull comments.

I have found a place that will rent to me talked to them on the phone and explained my situation and they were very helpful.
They were not ran by a management company so thats probably my golden ticket there lol.
Anyways just trying to finish up my doctor stuff here and some paperwork and I think I should be up there towards the first of november if all goes well maybe earlier.
There a bit far from portland so if anyone heres of anywhere else that might rent private message me if not at least I have a way up there now.
