I agree with this.. So far the only place that had real top shelf meds worthy of top shelf prices was Green Thumb Academy.

What would you consider a "reasonable donation" for a clone only strain that's top shelf ?( basically a 10 all the way around )

I agree with you.. That Green Thumb place is doing zips for about 365 but its real top shelf... And no I'm not affiliated by any means just finally a place that offers real top shelf with every strain they carry

Depends... Free works best for me.
Reason - when the time comes and I want to grow that strain again simply find one of the folks I Gave the cut to and they will gladly give me one for free!

We have been getting really good quality meds p2p at a 240 donation.
365 for top shelf is still too much.

Agree with you but show me a dispensary / compassion club with Top Shelf 240 ounces.. Not in AZ and Cali...

I'm an ole guy so my opinions don't mean as much as 20 yrs ago, but fukk it, i'll put in my 2 cents anyway:
- caregivers will always have better prices and in most cases quality then dispensaries.
- like in most businesses, 80% will get by with junk and 20% will rise to the top with good people, good marketing and good product
- People that need and/or want MMJ will vary on who they buy from based on their own experiences and the marketing of people and companies that offer what they need. Some will find quality growers that are caregivers that take care of their needs safely and some will pay more for Dispensaries that make them feel comfortable and offer good product
I'm new to this, only 2+ yrs now since AZ laws said go for it. But I do know biz and have been successful selling to the Movie Industry, WalMarts, and the adult industry. This industry will be the next one to make a bunch of millionaires, probably only 1 out of 10 that get into it. 9 out of 10 will get buy and survive and fail, but this is the same percentage you'll find in any business.
A few will be quality growers, a few will be awesome chefs making yummy edibles, a few will be quality dispensaries, and some of those quality people will fail because they can't network, can't promote, can't sell or don't have the $$$ to compete.
Loving this product, loving this business, loving the challenges and loving the wacko peeps I've met.

The P2P down here is REALLY bad, prices are ok but the buds are NEVER cured, NEVER trimmed up right, and are never very fun to smoke. By that i mean i never get that "OMG i cant wait to get home and smoke a bowl of that herb i got from Grower X"
The Clubs here are just as bad, except I have to pay double the price and wait in a stuffy ass room with no seating for half an hour.
IM am FINALLY happy to say that the best buds I can get (locally) are the ones I have grown. You Phx guys are so very fortunate to have as many good P2P options, down here it's a waste land of badness.
