Loft Insulation over the tent

For a quick fix, would laying rolls of loft insulation over my tent (up one side, over top, and then down the other) help with keeping my temp up during these cold times.
My tent is in my garage and I’m trying to reduce heat loss and also save in the Oil filled rad that’s constantly on lol.
Going to shove some cardboard underneath to try and reduce the cold concrete problem as well (my pots aren’t directly in the floor).
Cheers

Try hitting a countertop/cabinet shop. They have cover sheets and laminate boxes that are the perfect size for what you are hoping to do.

It can't hurt, but the amount of airflow through the tent will have the most effect. I use an InkBird humidity controller to operate a very small ventilation fan, just enough airflow to maintain the desired humidity. I recently built a cabinet of 1" foil faced insulation board and it works better than I expected.
What type of lights are you running?

No unfortunately not
You might be screwed then haha sorry
My best advice is to get rid of the tent, build a mini room, insulate that.
Build it 2-3' bigger than your tent in both directions.
This is be big enough/ and small enough, you could put the heater right inside there so you only have to heat a small area instead of the large garage.
Also, you can seal the room, no exhaust. Thats your best bet to keep it warm.
Add a CO2 tank with a solenoid and a monitor/controller, buy a dual hose AC (or window AC would work for your situation too)
And a dehumidifier.
Throw those in the insulated room, you should be able to easily control the grow environment.

Shit, fair enough.
I’m trying to do this without paying out major money. Already spent a fair bit on the kit I’ve got lol
It’s keeping temp but thats with the heater I’ve got in there.
I haven’t got any more room to build a bigger box in the garage
Cheers for the advice though fella

you could try a few rolls of radiant foam core insulation, it's like 1/4 inch thick-aluminum covered. Just cut the pieces to fit each side and tape them to your tent and tape the seams together. It's a little janky but you could cover your entire tent with it and keep it tight.

Cheers bud, will this still help keep some heat in when the lights are off but the radiator still on but the cold air will still be pulled in.
Just trying to help reduce the amount of time the radiator is on to cut down cost.
