Logic’s Bubbleponic Project

Day 21

• PH: 6.4
• 3/4 Teaspoon Of Fox Farm Ocean Forest
• 1/2 Teaspoon Of Cal-Mag

I have switched the reservoir to a 5 Gallon Bucket since there was only one survivor of the dog attack lol.

shes came out of shock and have started on her life. Doing well now. Wish things would have went different but I am still on this journey.

Not sure why there’s roots growing out the side of the top of the Rockwool but my guess is that it’s from the dog attack at its early stages some how.
I did put a paper plate above it around the plant but it was getting pretty damped out and the Rockwool has a couple lil green spots on it so I wasn’t sure if I should be covering it up or not.

Hopefully those roots being exposed on top won’t be an issue. If so I’m sure it won’t be too bad because there’s so many other bigger roots going down into the nutrient solution. I was more worried about the green in the top of the Rockwool. Wondering if I should try to pinch it out of the Rockwool or just leave it alone.

On another note 3 days ago I popped 3 Gelato beans to go in my original bubbleponic set up. I had then placed them into Rockwool cubes that was sitting in a tray with ph downed water.
Today I put them into the set up and hopefully they pop up out of the Rockwool soon.

I’m worried because some of those Rockwool cubes holes seemed way too big. before I put the popped bean into the Rockwool I ripped a lil piece of the Rockwool off of the side of it and stuffed it in the hole then placed the bean in it. I’ve waited two days and nothing’s came up. I now have some light over it and hopefully they sprout.

I’ve also popped a White Widow bean the same way but have left it in the Rockwool in the tray. I’m hoping that one sprouts so I can put it in soil. (Never used soil before) lol. But want to learn.

If this one is still under cfl, you might want to start throwing more light at it.

I wanna know when to switch over to 2000 watt mars hydro as well. Plants are a week old so if you find out please message me
@Leter rip tatterchip, these are the distanced that Mars Hydro recommends. You should be all set using thier suggested max height for your seedling. Just keep a close eye on it.

Thank you. They just don’t say at what power level. The light is very bright and when I have it at thirty inches the true leaves aim up witch I have read means it’s adjusting to the light and maybe to much light. I work a lot and just worry if I turn the light down to 25 percent power and have it to far away that they will stretch

The aiming up is usually a good thing and it's better to let that good thing happen and keep your eyes open for signs of leaf bleaching. According to Tina from Mars Hydro those distances apply to all of their lights. There's a Mars Hydro rep active here on RiU, whether or not it's the same rep that I linked to below is unknown to me but you can do a search here on RiU and ask the rep yourself.

Not good. Not sure what’s going on. Why are the roots so green? Plant drooping bad too. I know I need more light but I’m waiting for my tent to get here before putting up the hps.
But i hope this isn’t root rot

Looks like both algae and rot.
Your orange bucket is not light proof at all. The whole thing glows inside. The blue Lowes buckets are not a whole lot better.
You need to paint the whole bucket and the lid or get a black one. You will not succeed if you dont.
