would you suggest me to transplant it to soil right now. I don’t have the time to get to the store and get a black bucket.
would it even be able to come out of shock if it already has a lil root rot?

I actually was gunna start another one in a different bucket but that one with the black top is white on the bottom and that’ll probably be the same thing huh. Man this ain’t going well lol

At this point thatd probably kill it. You cant really go back and fourth, the roots grow different in water.
You will need to do something to treat the root rot or the plant will die either way. Household peroxide will suffice for an emergency treatment, a tiny amount of bleach would be last ditch option. I cant comment on how much to use though.
If you cant get to the store, do whatever you can to cover it, including the lid, and make it dark in the bucket. Even if its just wrapping a towel around it or something.
Sorry to bring the bad news. You want to keep it completely dark in the root zone. If you can shine a flashlight on the side of the bucket and see the light through it, its probably not going to work great.

Well I took the light on my phone at the Home Depot and it shined through every single bucket there besides one.
so I have once again converted it.
Yikes... and it turns out the only peroxide in the house was a spray one for emergencies I guess on the road. Idk if it has any difference then the original one so I only sprayed it once in the bucket out of fear lol.
PH: 5.7
1 Teaspoon Cal-Mag
2 Teaspoon Fox Farm Grow Big
1 Spray Hydrogen Peroxide
and a whole lot of hope...

Great move. Youve given it a much better shot at life with that container.
Kinda interested to see how that works out with the spray peroxide.
I would run something as a preventative. Try to source yourself some higher concentrated peroxide. It can be difficult to source locally. Apparently you can get 20% for bleaching hair from salon shops. If youre looking to order it get some 30%+ itll be kind of expensive but you need very little and itll last a long time so be worth it if youre going to keep with it.
You could also use a beneficial bacteria. If youre in the US southern ag garden friendly fungicide is a very cost effective choice. Its what I use.

I only use peroxide to clean stuff between grows. I use southern ag as a preventative and a double dose of that knocks any rot out for me.
If its going to work, doing that should help.
If you dont notice any improvement in the next day or two, you might be able to give the roots themselves a light spray.

Change the water every few days and really try to get one of the things I said before to kill it. The most available thing thatll help is likely going to be some 3% household peroxide. dose that at 10ml a gallon or so.
In DWC, once something get hold of the roots, it can go back quickly if you dont take action to kill it.

It's going well bc you're learning lessons. I can tell you are an old school member from the bubbleponics forum days as soon as I saw the bubbleponics in the thread title haha. Lots of lessons have been learned from those days.
