17 days from sprout

It is a project in progress as the grow room will be moved this weekend.
From seed to now they have just been in the middle of my dining room and will
be moved this weekend to a 4’x4’x6’ tent.

Equipment
T5 for seedlings
600w MH for veg
600w HPS for flower
270 CFM 6” inline fan for lights
400 CFM exhaust
9000 BTU portable AC unit.

FoxFarm nutes Big Bloom and Grow Big hydro

T5 for 10 days from seed 10/18 to/10/28 switch to 600w MH on 10/29.
Lights from sprout have been on 24/7.

600w MH 10" above plants
temps at 75 - 80, roots 65 - 70

"AND THEN THERE WERE 3"
Started 7 seeds 6 sprouted 3 died! smoked themselves they did! after the air stone clogged AND water pump failed. no circulation in a DWC/bubble setup is a deal breaker.

Survivors are 1 White Castle fem - Nirvana seeds , 1 White Rhino fem - Nirvana seeds, 1 Kalashnikova fem- Green House via Attitude seed bank.

Current environment remains stable at
600w MH 24/7
Room ambient temp 72, plant level temp 75-80, root lvl 63-70
PH 5.6 - 6.2 range over 3 days
pmm 1200 (just raised today from 800)

The camera is an old one and the only one i have so the pics suffer i know but its all i
have for now.

I am in know position to give advice but if i recall correctly, you dont want to have any nutes let alone THAT MUCH right now. I think thats the ppm level for a big bush thats in flower....

someone will correct me if im wrong....

Thanks pumpkinhead. I did not think it too high but figured i would calibrate the meters because i have 2 sets and each
would read slightly different.

Well it looks like i have a zinc deficiency possibly a Phosphorus (P) Toxicity issue.

I have calibrated my TDS and PH meters, both were off a bit. I think the PH was staying stable at 6.3 while my
meter was reading 5.8 and the TDS is actually at 900ppm not 1200 as thought..

The transfer to a new RCDWC in a 150qt igloo 7 day cooler with a fresh water and nute change should help.
I think I will just flush with PH 5.8 water for the first day no nutes to start.

Update

24 days from sprout.

White castle started a good recovery from the zinc diff. new growth all green and healthy. Topped at 20 days 4 tops showing strong at 24 days. Roots long strong and healthy.

Kalashnikova did not recover as fast was stunted in size, new growth green but all older leaves started to look very leathery also leaves on plant were no bigger than a post stamp. Topped at 20 days 4 tops showing at 24 days. Roots not as long as WC but healthy.

White Rhino this one never turned yellow but stayed small from the stress i think. some of her roots got pinched. she came through that and started new root growth. she also suffered from stunted growth. her nodes were very compact in spacing. very green and bushy. Topped at 20 days 4 tops showing strong at 24 days. Roots longer than K but not as long or bushy as WC.

:-?Mission aborted!

This grow came under unexpected heavy domestic, foreign and (normally) friendly fire/pressure.
Due to life issues, building up astonishingly fast, and the various health stages of the plants
this grow has been terminated.

Better to scuttle this grow now and grow again soon than try to maintain it
and loose everything now.

Took months of research, 1 week to build, 24 days of growing. All seems sad when it only takes 1 hr to tear down and store.

I'll shall return!:weed:

I got a kalash going and It doesn't want to grow to quick, but I did over nute it at first. There at about 5 weeks from seed and are really bushy but only like 7 inches tall. I did top the one though.

Give it a rest and then another go mate, don't see it as something you've abandoned, just as something you've postponed while you learned a few things in between.
