Well the ideal time (imo) is about a week before you put the plant into flower, well before flower it dont have to be a week can be a few days till I guess but they do go into a little shock. Give them some time to heal before flowering.

i would say you need bigger pots... how high are them...you may be better to just super crop them....put them in 5 gallon buckets or the black ones...
