Yes, well basically you strip the bottom brances and leaves, maybe like the bottom 1/3rd of the plant. I just watched a video on youtube tonight about it as I am going to give it a try myself this year.

idk what its called or anything but i remove maybe a handful of leaves that are covering new tops and such and found not only does the new tops/ look better but the whole plant looks bigger and loaded with new growth

Lolli popping consists of removing the lower leaves and growing shoots(suckers). Removing just the leaves will result in less yield and more popcorn lower down on the plant. If I was you I would remove the lower branches off completely then remove all inner shoots remaining leaving just the upper arms to produce. How it works is you are trying to push all production into the best zone(top of the plant). If you do this correctly you will increase your yield, but be patient and learn from your mistakes.

Sorry I'm new to this I thought the shoot was the branches so bascicly any branch on the bottem that ovi will not produce bud and shud I touch the top leaves to or shud I just watch a Video on YouTubeYouTube

Removing just the lower leaves will result in smaller bud than normal. The key to this technique is to end up with all growing tips in the right location, as close to the top as possible. Any branch that you think will not make it to that sweet spot should be removed, this does 2 things pushes the growing tips upwards and allows the plant to concentrate on the shoots that are left. These plants are genetically setup to produce x amount of product and the plant does not care if its in mini buds or one big ass cola. Now that that is said there is always 2 sides to the coin but if done correctly you will be left with high quality and you should be able to increase your yield at the same time.

Mofo slugs have lollipopped half of my plants for me this year. If it was up to be, when growing outside I'd just let me plants be and my job would be to purely protect them from damage and feed. Your yields outside should be awesome without messing with them. I hate bugs.

Hey bigbsharko, try putting a cat food can full of beer by your plants. It will attract and kill the slugs. You can also put a ring of diatomaceous earth around your plants to help keep pests away.
