Lollypopping

i was wondering if anyone can tell me step by step on how to do this or if there is a good website that shows u how.(website perfered) I searched the other threads and everything just gives a brief description on how it works. Im looking for a more in depth instruction.

ok here is the dirt........
grow your plant 24/0 or 18/6 until it is 20 inches tall.
take a sterilized razor blade and slice off all branches on the lowest 10 inches.
flip to 12/12
thats it. thats why no one has posted more in depth instructions.

not wrong, but maybe thats not what you were asking for.

the idea is that you cut off all the lower branches that will not grow to much and leave the top of main stem to get covered in bud, the height will depend on the intensity depth of the light. so if you were using a 250w hps the height of the finished stick of bud would be small about a 10 inches, a flouro grow maybe just 6 inches. higher intensity lights would allow you to have taller plants but the higher you go the less advantage lollipoping will be

before the advanced nutes forum closed, there was a good read about this subject. great pics too. it works awesome. i can't remember the guys name. but i think he's at the couchlock cafe now. that's where most of those folks are now.
