Long Thick Roots have CRACKED germinated seed so much, they are detatched from seed

I germinated some seeds, but held out on planting them. The roots have got extra extra long and thick and have completely cracked the the seeds shell in half before planting. The root is thick purple and hard towards the end of it. Is it still good for planting?

Sorry for lame edited picture. My camera is currently broke. The roots are literally that long too compared to little ones.

I would at least try to plant them all but i cant say if the purple ones will grow, never had that happen before.

I actually have grown my seeds that way before. I'd recommend planting the heads out of the soil, roots nicely covered, with a fair amount of lighting. Planting the heads in the soil will result in the lil guy rotting.

^Agreed. Just make sure you wash your hands really well, or use tweezers or something, to avoid infecting the seedling, or damaging it somehow. They're pretty fragile, at this point.
