Thanks for the encouragement I snipped and dried a bottom nug the other day nice buzz. Before drying though it has an orangy/Sweet wood
scent.

Someday maybe we'll be able to smell via "SmellAvision" looks tasty! Unfortunately IMO one losses most of the smell & some flavor from a quick dry or even slow dry until it's cured awhile so you should be in for quite a treat once it's cured,,,,

Happy New year fellow tokians. Looks like no more new hair growth and now their getting deeper in color. Again I'm small closet growing with I'm sure minimal lighting for optimum bud production, so will I see a huge difference in size from now till harvest? Maybe 5 days away. Or should I wait longer? 75days from 12-12, 56 from pistils.

Around 1 (minimum) -2 more weeks. Theu are really struggling to ripen. Of course you CAN harvest whenever you want.
Looks like week 6.5-7 on a typical hps grow.

Im pretty sure i said it will take avout 2 weeks to finish ripening.... so yes i obviously think it will be beneficial. What else could you take from what i said?
As a after note i pointed out where it would be if the the light was better, if thats confusing just ignore it.

The majority of your yield comes at the end of the cycle. The buds may look the same size, but they really fill out. When you harvest too early its really just shooting yourself in the foot. Some times you have no choice, like if your renting ans theres some problem with the home owner, or this or that reason... but really you want to try your best to wait till they are ripe.

Hold out smoke: it's always worth the wait, the final weeks are tough because things seem to so slow to a crawl but things are happening & final weight, flavor and length of high will be better, you could snip a couple nugs, dry & cure them keep them separate then you will be able to see the difference

There are plenty of good LEDs and millions of crap ones. Stay away from things that say full spectrum, although they will probably do you better than cfl.

Exactly why im saying hps. Hps have never let anyone i know down. The hype and missinformation surrounding leds is real. Yea some of them do ok but they are always being compaired to the champ, HPS.

Well personally speaking I pull better numbers from LEDs than I did from HPS and I grew HPS for a long time.
But that said HPS like you say is what people use as a base to compare to and it is tried and tested for decades, you know where you are with HID lighting. It can be beaten but again, as you say the hype and misinformation is overwhelming for the majority of the market. That is changing but it will be a long while until all LED companies can be trusted. There is a decade of bullshit to overcome.
